    does anybody here have any idea what sort of weight a lightened con rod
    for a c14se would be?

    I don't think you're going to be looking at anything too substantially lighter if they're Lightened and Balanced as a Set !

    You could go Steel if your desperate... there was a group buy a while ago I think !

    a lightened standard rod or an aftermarket H rod?

    a lightened standard rod, have them deseamed and balanced and was just wondering how light people get them.
    i have them down to 372g without bearings and bolts.i didnt take too much off and was just looking for info on the weight

    there is no point lightening them to the point that they become weaker. you have removed the stress points and that is the important thing. i would not got out to lighten the std rod, but just to do exactly what you have. try and get them all down to the same weight and this will be fine.
