10mm spanner
13mm socket with a long extension bar.
1. Remove the Positive (red)terminal from the battery by undoing the 10mm nut on it (not all the way off). Tuck it well out of the way.
Remove the negative (brown) terminal in the same way.
Locate the 13mm bolt which will be at the bottom of the battery, at the front. Undo it, remove the clamp, and the battery will lift out. Refit is the reverse of the above.
Clutch cable.

Possibly a hammer and a blunt screwdriver.
A Torch
Get under the dashboard, and look up under the steering column, following the clutch pedal to its end. Look at the end of the clutch pedal (using the torch) and you will see a kind of hook with a small button on the end of it attached to the cable. You will need to pull the cable towards you slightly whilst twisting the hook upwards until it releases from the clutch pedal (difficult to explain but hopefully you'll see what I mean.
Back under the engine bay now, pull the cable out from the bulkhead, and then follow it down to the gearbox (*which is located next to the engine on the right hand side of the bay.) it should be held in place by a large cylindrical plastic moulding, and then the cable itself is attached to a metal arm via a half cylindrical retaining clip.. Remove the cable from the arm by pulling the retaining clip towards the front of the car. Then you need to remove the large cylidrical plastic moulding by pushing it towards the back of the car. (this will probably be a tight fit so you may need to give it a few taps with a hammer and a blunt screwdriver.
Fitting the new one should be done in a different order though. Firstly, attach the new cylidrical moulding to the gearbox. Then feed the other end of the cable through the bulkhead, get back under the dash and fit the cable to the pedal in the reverse of how you removed it. LASTLY you need to reattach the cable to the arm on the gearbox. You may need to get someone to help here by pushing the arm towards the car with a crowbar whilst you refit it.
Lastly, get in the car and push the clutch in and out a few times to ensure its settled. If the pedal is sitting too high, you need to remove the retainer on the gearbox again, and unscrew it a few turns. Refit, and check again. If it is too low, you need to screw the retainer up a few turns.
