Got some more boring jobs done yesterday, but neccessary jobs.

So I can stick the gearbox in the booth along with my V6 calipers...

Got the satin black lashed on the g unit and I thought I'd go gold on the calipers as it "might" look good behind the anthracite wheels. Gonna give it a try and will go black if it looks like bottom...

Next up was to mod the rear mount. Took lots of pics of this so people can see what's involved, sorry if its egg sucking for the big block pro's out there! So here's one mount...
With one of the spacers lined up you can see which bit needs notching out...

Marked out then in with grinder...
Do the same on the other side and a little bit of finishing and it all fits together nicely...
The mounts now in the ever building box of bits for powdercoating! Until next time kids.
you gonna weld that mount too ?? looks like the start of a good project tho .
I had thought about it yeah cos the one I converted from my sri has extra bracing on it...
But does it really need it with the 2 tubes on there?
They can crack withou that extra top brace.
