Is it possible to connect a sub that is made for use with a computer???

I have a Creative 5.1 (5 satellite speakers and 1 sub) speaker set system.

I would just like to know out of interest whether i could connect it up into the car?

So when i do get a car i can use it as a tempoary measure.
