    Angry Tiscali

Is anyone on here with Tiscali???

I'm havving so many problems with them, i've only been with them for 2 weeks, and already i've made in excess of 20 calls to there so called helpline!!!

And all they can say is it's in hand with BT, so i'm sat here, like a noob at nearly 2am on the fecking phone, talking to some fecking eejit with a foreign accent (i am NOT racist) bnut ffs it'd be easier if they knew what they were talking about!!! GRR

i use bulldog and have been for last year and im pleased to say never a problem , very randomly i may lose conn' , but i just re-conn' and all sorted , the only thing im not happy bout is im on the 8meg deal but i only ever run at 3meg , which IMO is bollox , but ppl tell me its because the signal i receive from whatever im conn' to .. so i thinks i may as well pay less and get a 4meg conn' ..

Well my problem with Tiscali is that they cannot deliver what the agreed to, which is broadband to my house, every time i connect, i have to keep the house phone and mobile with me, cos when the connection goes it re connects quicker if i use the phone, which is just costing me even more fecking money, but the main thing is that i'm losing more money than i can afford to!!

    Rant over

haha, i have the same problem but with Force9, finally got the net sorted after 3-4weeks after moving in and then last week it just stopped, problem being that they dont have a helpline so we have been using the nieghbours unsecured wireless network for quite awhile now , whilst f9 kick BT's **** finally after running about 20 test on your line and wasting a week.

Been with UKO now for over a year and no problems at all.

Alex's connection on the farm is rubbish, keeps dropping out. As she lives out in the sticks though its probably her ADSL line thats crap. Keep telling her to hassle BT about it, as she (or rather her parents) are paying ?xx a month for a 24/7 512k broadband connection and they're really only getting a ~6 hour a day on and off connection at speed not much better than dial up

There is a thread on MIG about this.
We have Tiscali at home & I think its a load of toss myself.

Others have issues with their customer support etc.
