yeah its a really nice motor, had it since january and its seen more mileage in the last 6 months than in the last 6 years , its really cool, nice first car, and leaves my mates silly escorts at the line. just now starting to do bits to it like the k&n and some alloys.

talking about alloys? will 15" go straight on these? or will i need to mess about with the arches to get 15"s on?

    cheers again

15"s go straight on no problem. Lowerd 30mm and 15"s with an ET49 offset (iirc) will still fit a treat!

looks awesome, cant wait to get my ones on there.

atm mine has 13" steelies, and where yours is all red mine is red at the top and below the bumpstrip is black, with grey/black bumpers and no side skirts, but will be changing it soon. how easy are the sideskirts to fit?

GTE/GSi skirts are well easy to fit! Espcially if youve got the original GM clips (still available although people say there not! just use tigra items! )

I had the viynl removed by a bodyshop when i had new doors fitted but im gonna put it back on and ditch the skirts i think. Not 100% sure though?

you can use the bit you've circled in red as a hot air feed to the K&N when the weather gets cold

if you get a four branch exhaust manifold such as janspeed you won't have a hot air feed on it thus no hole

yer in winter you want something to direct hot air to the carb, i havent and fok me, it starts jumping and then it died at a set of lights, and wouldnt start!

but yer that bay looks mint mate, mines a g reg and looks fairly bad at the min in the bay any way.

didnt realy read much of this but, on my k&n i drilled a hole in the bottom of it for a pipe to go into it.

cheers for all your comments lads really helped, i got myself a nice set of 15" alloys that came off of another nova, really look sweet, i think they originally was for rovers..? not sure tho, when i get some tyres and have em fitted i'll post some pics

k&n's all fitted, didn't notice any power gain but makes a fat roar when past 3500 revs

    cheers again
