    nice car, i really like mk3 gsi's..

but why waste that money on the induction kit and clearance cap?

ok viper may work well, but not ?250 well, i'd much rather have kept SFI box and std airbox and spent the cash on some cams or headwork or summat

    just my 2p worth

(and u do know that back to back tests with and without the powercap have shown it LOSES power over the standard unit, iirc one of the guys on mig lost 5hp with it fitted)

Thankfully i didnt pay ?250 for it :D

And the power cap seems to work well with the viper to me as well as the guy who owned the car for the last 4 years (work with him). I have heard stories about the power cap losing power rather than gaining but it seems to be doing ok atm...

    Paid 3k for it.

May sound a tad high for a 12 year old car but with the condition its in its worth every penny, especially with what comes with it

The only thing that needs doing to it, the only hanggling point i could find, was theres slight bubbling around the petrol cap but the guy who had it before gave me a aero flush filler petrol cap to get fitted. As the original is on hinges and has a little screw cap inside and this new one has to have a new filler neck welded in, this will eliminate the rust anyway.

    Cheers

    That looks really nice.
I have one, but not a gsi ::
They are easily worth 3K in good condition
and yours looks in great condition.
