    Default Engine probs part II

Right....... So I've got the engine turning over again but she still wont fire?

Have checked fuel and that is fine but I dont seem to be getting a spark I have changed the leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm but to no effect.
How do I check that the coil is ok and that there is power going to it? Is this the problem or could it be elsewhere?
This is really doing my head in now :x

black at the coil should be at 12v with ignition on

are u getting anything from the king lead?

if not the coil/ignition amp is dead (or possibly the hall sensor in the dizzy)

Which black? (Do you mean the "big" one)

Got no spark from the king lead which is why I think its the coil or the LT circuit but not sure how to test either?

its the black running down from in the car (ignition live) it maybe joined to the right side of the coil but saying that it depends what engine you had in there!

the coil should have a 4pin multiplug on the front of it with 2 pins occupied (black and green)

the black shoudl be live with ignition on

Ok...... I've just been and checked and I have 12v at the cable with the ignition on but no spark from the king lead.

So what does that mean? Do I need a new coil?

if when you turn it over and theres no spark through the coil lead its either the lead or the coil, stick somthing metal in the end of the coil lead and and sit it near something earthed then turn it over and look for a spark!
