    is the hiband flashing the same s dynamat ie ypou have to heat it up cos i saw a 10m roll in wickes for 11 quid that was 6"wide howmuch of my car will this do

    U dont heat it up, u jus slap it on.

    U can heat it up & stretch it, but it is very very sticky, and its ace, i aint gonna touch the expensive stuff, not worth the hassle, jus use hiband flashing tape, good as you will get.

    If you want, you can put a few layers down, but i have 1 layer on the boot floor, and i can hardly hear my stainless scorpion growling underneith!

    Ill get some flashing tape. how can I make the door shut quieter? Can I stick it round the lock?

    Hi band flashing tape is the proper name, hi band is the company i think?

    might sound daft but put in the right places?????your everday carpet underlay does a far better job than flashing tape and i proved it to a m8 who spent over ?50 on the stuff and mine cost a fiver(for the spray glue).The art in deadening sound is making the panel thicker so it absorbs the sound before entering the car.Think about it look at the thickness of the flashing compare it with the tape???
