    Default 4x40w amp? any good

i've got a 4x50w pioneer head unit which runs some kenwood 7x10s on the parcal shelf and some sony 13cm door speakers.
i want to connect in the standard dash speakers. what is the best way to do this
should i use the 4x40w amp i've got or will it be okay running an extra set of speakers with the ones in the front. if so how should i connect them.

I have a pioneer headunit with a 4*50w amp, it is running 2 6" and 1" infinity components in my doors and then the rear channel is bridged to run a 12" MTX sub in the boot and it sounds mint

just wire the front speakers in parallel. hust be careful when you turn it up coz as they will be effectively 2 ohms the current draw will be higher and you could pop yer headunit amp. but otherwise its ok

probobly best to not run six speakers off the head as it will put to much load on the onboard amp. see fast car this month for some1 with a similar situation (pg 187).
run the front ones with the head, sell the amp, buy a decent 2 channel for the 6*9's.

u said it was 4x40 so 2 front speakers and 2 6x9s is 4 channels so you can do it you dont need to bridge it
