well its a bit hard to eplain, but i'll have a go...

as you will probably already know, there is a clip that holds the winder in place. there are two ways that you can get this off. they are the easy way and the hard way.

    the easy way
you can buy a tool that is made expecially for removing the window winder (probably get one from most car shops)

    the hard way
the other way (the way i did it) is to get an old tee-towel and prise one side of it up underneath the winder. then you have to move it in a backwards and forwards motion, this will (eventually) force the clip up and you can pull it out.

once you have removed the clip the winder just pulls off. job done

1 word of warning though, if you do do it the hard way then make sure that you keep you're eyes open for the clip popping up, as (like when i did it for the first time) it can 'pop' out, and those little b4st4rds are well hard to find.

    good luck

the easiest way i have found is with a hose tool, like a screwdriver but pointy on the end and has a 30is degree bend in, this will unclip the clip in no time at all, otherwise use a crap screwdriver and bend it.
