    hub off, take it and the new bearing to a garage and have them press old one out and new one in.

    DONT go messing about with hammers etc

    Just to reinforce what cambridge said,

    use a press cos smaking them will only bugger something up.

    Especially when putting the new one in!

    i could use the tremendus weight of my belly that must be about 1t

    got car booked in for re-test saturday am now so will get it pressed in at me mates engineering place tomorrow
