Default The fastest Nova in the world

Once again Ben pulls it out the bag, rear end almost complete, just waiting on my custom hubs so he can do the back axle.

You can see the mounts for the parachute and wheelie bars here

Rear gearbox mount, the box is also mounted to the chassis rail from the top and will have one on the front also.

    Drivers side engine mount

    Happy boy indeed

What's the reasoning behind the wheelie bar? Will you be using it to preload the front suspension? Ie shift the center of gravity forward and over the front wheels for better traction?

1st rate work; any weight behind the driver's going to be a good thing.

It's technically not a wheelie bar of course but it will stop the back end squatting down which in turn will load up the front like you say.
May not be required but I'd rather have provisions for it done now.

Had the SQS M32 upto Vauxpro today to take a look inside and inspect the gears, strange looking set that's for sure

Gonna need an extra gear or 2 in there still

And defo need to upgrade that bearing and end casing

Whats the reasoning behind turning the pivot point 90 degrees on the front suspension rear arm?

That's a serious looking gearbox! the gears look sooooo wide!
If Carlsberg did Motor clubs, then IDMC would probably be the best motor club in the world.
