Top row is the SONO number and the one on the second row is the build number.

Are you sure about LU5? that was not a Nova code, as it's for the Z22XE engine
It may just be U5? The plate is very badly corroded.
U5 is a Nova code, but I have no details for the 2-digit ones
Sorry to dig up an old thread folks, but my friend misplaced this tag during paint and we're trying to put the pieces together to make a new tag. Obviously that has led me here which is really helpful, but does anyone know if the vin can be decoded to give the build information? SONO and POC's?
