Do you run small or big wheels?
Some Mg's come with 4 pot AP calipers, but they are large as the discs are 310mm...
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one PepsiFar from suicidalStill I get them tendenciesBringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce
Speak to RallyMarshal iirc he was advising a couple lads to use 256mm ate brakes with larger discs rather then cheap 4 pots, tbh if I was you I would try and be his best mate the guys a fountain of knowledge and he competes in rally events
^^^ did you just read that? what a idiot ^^^

https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-172-2...9f6ea98b1d32d2 these are fairly large, but also fairly on the cheap side, especially since they're a Cadillac part.
Running 14 inch
If your running 14" then you have a couple of size limitations on the calipers etc.
Until this year Ive run the standard Astra GTE 16v 256mm ATE calipers - originally ran them on 256mm discs (which will fit under 14" wheels) and then used a modified Cossie 285mm disk and adaptors to give a bit more braking. The key is the pad. I personally use Mintex F4R pads and find them the dogs danglies. Have tried DS3000s but didnt get on with them. Are you stage or road rallying?
Paul..
single venue stuff
Then try some F4R pads in the standard 16v ATE sliding caliper with new discs (i prefer grooved not drilled but standard Mintex ones are fine too) and bed them in properly prior to an event. Use proper brake fluid (Motul RBF 600 or 660) and you will find they give a decent brake pedal with a good bite once they have a little heat in them.
Paul..
Thanks for the advice Paul its really appreciated, Pete
