Donny was amazing, I left home at 4.30am, arrived at 7.30, briefed, signed on, slicks on, 9 am sighting laps, waiting in the pit lane to go out, over comes marshall and Colin from Javelin, sorry your car is smoking too much, we've had complaints that cars behind can't see the track, we're also worried it might explode and that's a safety issue. You can't go out.
So at 9.23 the car was back on the trailer and by 10.48 I was on the M1 on the way home.
Got in, dumped the car in the garage and went out on my bike for a bit!!
Darn it that is a real bummer , still I seem to remember some chap (OK it was Jonlem) recently mentioning that he was surprised your engine had survived so long without any oil pressure issues bearing in mind the way you drove it. Though to be honest you just seemed to drive it like a track car should be, namely errr like a track car....
Look on the bright side, this just adds further justification to going dry sump with the new car....
Hope you enjoye the bike ride.
I can't be held responsible shite day for you though House.
Bad luck dude.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one PepsiFar from suicidalStill I get them tendenciesBringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce
This had nothing to do with oil pressure and all to do with the oval number 1 bore that was like it when I built it!!!!
To be honest I can't believe it's lasted this long!!
Engine coming out Saturday, block will be with Modus, Monday morning, re-bore, new Pistons and rings, new shells, gaskets, back together the following Saturday.
No they didn't refund me!! Haha
Get Iain to rebuild it... he will use the finest pistons he can lay his mitts on
Don't trust iain the sly bastard
^^^ did you just read that? what a idiot ^^^
