    Such a shame mate.
Do you keep a cover on it?
That fiesta I had was painted years ago no issues.
I put a cover on it and it came up in micro blisters on one side.

Shame on the paint. I must say it's looking absolutely incredible now with all the decals - love it!

Looking back through the thread I've realised i missed a couple of updates from last year. I finally managed to replace my brake calipers so i could remove my wheel spacers and stop the tyres scrubbing the arch.

After purchasing the callipers, i spent a while measuring, measuring and measuring again so i could design some custom brackets. A chap i work with machined them for me

he done a great job and it enabled me to remove the wilwood calipers and fit the new compbrake callipers whilst keeping the original discs.

Another ongoing issue i had was the gear linkage rubbing on the gear box causing one of the rose joint nuts to keep undoing. Difficult to explain and don't have many pics but basically i chopped up two linkages and welded one part on top of the other which lifted the fouling part off the gearbox.

Very nice brakes. Retaining standard discs has obvious benefits. Gutted about the paint issues though

Are those original discs? They look like they are on spigot rings.

Lastly, i was getting a little fed up with not having any matts that fitted perfect to the floor. I found a online supplier of a good quality car carpet and set about making my own matts, i wanted full length ones so they didn't move about but then was worried about them getting dirty............ So made another smaller set to go on top. Once i had the shape correct, i found a company that could overlock the edges.

    Couple of pics from PV

No, I've never put a car cover on it in fear of scratching it. Its kept in a dry garage for 90% of the time.

Cheers Keith! its frustrating because I'm going to have to have the decals made up again

    Nice update!
    Brakes look spot on now.
Body shop must be frustrated now.
What will they do with it now? As guess if it were a metal car you would have to bare metal it but can't really do that with the fibreglass kit? Then again of it's all over the car it must be a paint or prep issue.
