    Default Gearbox end float adjustment

I noticed through the top of the gearbox with the selector turret removed that the gears are out of alignment. There is a 2-3mm miss alignment, I think the input shaft is pushed to far out. With the cluster out and on the bench everything is perfect and I can't pull or push either shaft. It's a bit of a puzzle, is there adjustment on either shaft?

Could it be that there is a difference between the 2000 F13 gear case from a Tigra and the earlier one from a Nova GTE, obviously the later one doesn't have the removable clutch cover. They do have different part numbers but are they incompatible.

    Ta
