Been to the coast today with the kids, but got a bit done yesterday which more or less got it ready for mot Saturday. The only issue I'm having at the minute is slight over revving on the throttle but I'm not sure if this is down to the throttle cable length so im going to address that before I take it to bogg's so Dave can have it on the rollers.
Started with the fuel pump first here's the components.
wired it up temp to make sure it ran. It did run after a timing issue which lead to lots of checking and re-wiring. Turns out you have to link the ecu to a laptop and change the trigger setting from ford to 62-2...who'd have thought
need to upgrade the fuel line at some point so when I do the rear beam I'll run a 10mm line through all the way and remove the return right back which is just capped off near the carbs for now.
next I wired in 2 relays one for the fuel pump and one for my fan circuit. The pump will be either running a oil pressure cut off or a spark loss kill soon
Then after giving it a run I bolted up the fuel pump, refitted my dash parts and then went to work fitting my new rocker cover and catch tank ( paint in the bay is a bit rough still as its getting done later this year or next)
grille back on
ive got a full length piper cross filter and backplate on route also and hopefully have the Ashley manifold and full 2.25 stainless system on, on Saturday sfter the mot too.
Was going to upload a video but I'm tired and have forgot my YouTube password
Sorted! This is literally the first time it ran, you can hear the throttle slightly over revving here.

Hi bud first of all if like to say that's an awesome looking machine .. Came across a picture of the car lowered and was wondering what height have you the car at the rear?
Looks great you running an air filter?
He's waiting for it to be delivered by the sounds of it Iain, looks great as always Scott, fingers crossed for the mot!
