go to halfords mate, they have on sale some infinity 6x9's down from 100 to 50 rips. they are something like 300 watt 2 ways. cant go wrong with them.
dunno bout the 6x9s, but the subs are deff good, i had the 2 10" in the bandpass box and they were very loud for the money, but of course there is better stuff out there,
so the subs r worth having for me first car
Imo there cheap and nasty, the big box will slow your car down and will leave you with no room what so ever in your boot.
For the ?70 or maybe a little extra you can by a boxed 12" sub such as a pioneer, Kenwood, sony from places such as
www.bassjunkies.co.uk
Although theese are not the best they will give you better bass as they are 12" and will also take up half the space the double 10" box would and also weigh alot less.
do the subs give a good bass
i wasnt goin to get the bass box with it
i was just goin to get the sbs and fit them in my own boxs
just wandering if the 12" sub is any good
will it give a ok bass
You will get different awnsers from everyone mate, i personnally think splx are cheap shit and i would never even think about wasting my money on it, ok its good for someone who is on a low budget but dont expect miracles and definatly dont expect it to last.
Personally id spend a little more and get something the will give better bass and also last.
ive got splx twin 8" subs runnin of 350w splx amp. splx 6' x 9' speakers on the rear shelf, and factory front speakers(mk1). pioneer DEH-2300(i think) head unit. it sounds good, nothing rong wit it.
have you got any pics
Lol, good advice there, TBH there isnt much stuff out there any worse than SPLX, it really is cheap crap. Granted they might go pretty loud, but they sound terrible and wont last long.Originally Posted by Ben3042
