    Hello. what is the best way of smoothing bumpers. want to get rid of the texture aswell as were the bumper strips go if you get me..

    The texture is easy to get rid of but filling in where the gaps are will always crack imo

    Just an idea, plastic weld more plastic along the pinstripe lines to make the filler as thin as possible allowing it to be more flexible

    iv seen some bumper fill on the bay ment to flex with the bumper. I could plastic weld as well. do I just sand wel and skim some filler to get rind of texture.?

    bumper filler & hi-build primer should do it.

    cleaning all the crap & oxidisation off the old bumper to get a decent surface key is the hardest bit
