Lol I was thinking the same ...the only reason why people use a dry sump is with BIG power cars to stop oil surge....on long right hand bends for example....but IMO dry sumps have just as many downsides as they do positives.
    Dry sump for 200bhp

Thanks for taking the time to update the spec. Unfortunately its not for me, but I do appreciate the honesty.

The rods are standard by the way.

Good luck with the sale, wish I had the money for it I'd have it in no time!

on the topic of the off topic conversation in here, my old black car made 193bhp from from throttle bodies, exhaust and a proper map by SBD, other than that it only had rod bolts that I'm aware of

Fair enough mate I dont know why a dry sump would be needed to be fair. But thanks for your input and please feel free to elaborate

Ok mate thanks i asdumed they would be after seeing the standard pistons....and with an xe cant see the point in a rod job as these are good for any power you would hope to achieve with an xe

He can come to my workshop aswell will. Have a look at some proper xe's haha. Ive got lads running 260bhp on wetsumps still. 200bhp xe is: fast road cams, arp rod bolts, tbs/carbs and decent exhaust.

standard rods wont handle big revs compared to steel items and advised not too rev above 7.5k. Know a few that have been pushed higher and rods gone on holiday.

Still available? I could be interested on the ITB kit if you finally split.
