I vote that you wang the 1.6 into it, but keep it exactly like that.

I would strip it, fit the 16v, fit an off the shelf cage, 4 pots and anthracite Astra GTE wheels then leave it otherwise standard.

But that's just me.

If it was me id fit your engine keep everthing in like seats dash etc and i would get some nice wildwood brakes to fit under 15s and get cav slabs and make them look like the trims, anthracite and red griffin..

Leave as is, especially the wheel trims, imo.
