If you put Vaseline on the parts you don't want silver on the badge the paint won't stick to it so you can clean it off after
best way to paint the silver on the badge is just to put the paint on paper and pres the badge on it saves f***ing about.

as for the texture you could you texture areosol before you paint it?
Yeah you can buy textured bumper paint, I used it on my 'plough the Thursday before retrorides and then painted it the colour I wanted.
Sorry I can't tell you where to buy it as I went to the Ex brother in laws body shop and borrowed a can .
right big update time,
as a lot of people know ive been having problems with oil leaks with engine due to knackered rings and the bottom end started to rattle a bit from cold.
so i was uming and aring what to do and this came up for sale.

and a got myself a 4 branch for it to
so 1st thing was to remove old oil slick
The single carb going on for time being so its still usable.
Just dropped loads of bits of to be powdercoated.
Ordered some nice new roose motorsport hoses
Got a brand new gms plough to go on it to.
And order a JP racing dizzy and ignition module to
And its booked into to paint shop to have bay and bonnet painted
