    Also iv heard these r nt needed is this true ??

    I've not got one on mine, they are only there to provide a little bit of tension to keep it in place before you tension it properly.

    As above, i'd remove it after tensioning.

    Tbh you don't need it when tensioning anyway, aslong as you can't twist belt more than 90deg betwwenex cam + idler its tight enough. I tend to ain for 45deg on builds I do though.
