    And surprisingly for me, back on topic



    Pull your battery out as you may find your battery tray has holed, thats about the most common cause of water entry on that specific spot, and fairly common on mk2's aswell due to their construction from second hand tinfoil

    Could be any of the following...

    Sunroof, ie drains blocked(If sunroof fitted)
    Door membrane(Plastic sheet behind the door panel) not sealing and/or door drain holes blocked.
    Battery tray holed or corrosion on the bulkhead.
    Door seal
    Windscreen seal
    Heater matrix
