yes, once you have thrown the restrictive upper inlet into a nearly body of water & purchase a powerbox type manifold
people over look the 1.2 engine as a ****ter but its a short stroke high compressio engine, if you were to stick some 40s on with a lairy cam and a f13cr gearbox i think it would be a good engine!
it would be, and there is no doubt of that. But depending on the expected output to effort/money ratio. the answer first off is likely to be this is not a sensible option. If you wish to explain your budget and power aim and your ability to do anything more than just 'bolt on some random carbs' then we can discuss this further.
as i have said before, you can tune the hell out of a 1.2 & it will still get thrashed by a std 1.4
do you know what, i think i'm just gonna sack the small engine idea off and bite the bullet. i'm an impatient bugger anyway so may aswell get on with it. anyone know if a v6 has been done before?
