    Default Clocks....

Ok gents, so.... My clocks are knackered.... Intermittantly, i will take the key out but the engine will carry on running... Its defo the clocks but my question is this..

Will a mk2 set go in my mk1? Mk2's have plastic mounting points on the clocks unit for mounting to the mk2 dash but is it possible to just cut these off and fit as normal? Are the other mounting points the same as Mk1's? wiring the same etc????

IIRC the Mk2 has a plastic edge along the bottom of the clear dial face bit, I'd imagine that would get in the way as well?

Ideally - I have a standard set here if you need some.
