    no serious get atleast 50m not 5 it takes loads depending on size etc you never can tell

    ^^^ what he said.

    You overlap by 50% of the width so you use lots.

    I did see someone managed to wrap a manifold and ENTIRE exhaust system with something like 10M once.... they laid it perfectly flat with no overlap, oh there was much laughter as it fell off within days.

    50m wont be far off, and if you haven't done it before you're bound to mess up a small amount. I used 10m just to do a MX5 manifold and its about half the size. I didn't wrap the downpipe.

    Top tip, take your time, don't rush, and as said, wear a couple of jumpers and goggles, hat mask the lot. It gets everywhere!!

    The paint stops the heat rap for absorbing oil and other things less chance of catching fire
