Anyone insured a GTE at 17 ?

i have a 1litre nova loon and i am 17. my insurance is just under £600

well i don't know how you managed that?, thats stupidly cheap, my sons the same age, has the same car and is paying £2200?....confused?

Most of the "I pay £xyz" posts in this thread are completely useless though to be fair, as insurance depends on a whole bunch of factors.

Age, location, insurance company, mileage, cover, job, etc are some of the things which come to mind first. Without giving a little bit of info into the background, you can't really compare.

Its a bit like saying "You paid £500 for some work on your car? Wow thats expensive, I only paid £150" without saying what that work was...
