    Default starter/alternator loom

I have a 1 litre shell with a xe engine in and it appears the loom that goes battery to alternator to starter is too short from alt to starter, is this normal any tips to get around this problem at all or should it just about fit as I've not took a good look at how much smaller it is, seems like it will be like a banjo spring if it does reach then

The 1litre engine layout must be different with the exhaust being different from the 1.2 upwards as the standard nova battery, starter and alternator wire reaches. I have a nice condition one from a 1.3sr and can let you know the length to compare to yours

the 1.0 are different to the 1.2-1.6 so you would wither need the starter loom from a cav or astra or the 1.2 nova loom
