No way thats real. You can see the CGI, looks like Gran Tourismo at times! Plus what car is going to keep up with it through the corners taking such a tight line and not smashing into everything.
Thats said, impressive video!
well, as the holes are a fair bit bigger than the car, & the driver is a decent drifter, i'd say a lot of it is very real. of course the blocks are polystryene..with all the cutting, it was done in a lot of different takes as for the following car... gokart with a steadycam???
the roof one.. for safety reasons it wouldn't be allowed...
it reminds me of this classic though.
I assume then I was the only one reminded of Total Wipeout for the first one then?
Cheers RJ.
This is a better 80's version of the BMW advert
I can't see it on my phone
success is only limited by a weak mind
The irony is large in that citroen ad..... The front ends were made of plastic & much was made of their 'bouncebackability' they ran an ad with a bloke dancing on his bonnet... But the factory making the bonnets had a problem, so early ones had a steel one... And lots of people mashed their bonnets, by trying to dance on them.....
i don't even think the first one had polystyrene walls, i think some bloke got told to do things and animators worked with it
