That dash setup looks well cool.

Bit of an update with this, the wiring nightmare continues!
I've got the engine earthed now and the starter and alternator wired up. We've had the engine turning over on the starter button, and also tried a plug in a lead from the coil to see if we have a spark, and sadly no joy![]()
We have a live and an earth at the coil but no joy...
Also still having probs with the digi-dash. Got no alternator light or oil pressure light even though there all plugged in and wired up. Also getting a slight live about 6volts back feeding to the indicator light on the dash which means its always slightly illuminated![]()
At the minute were going to try a standard dash first to see if we are still having probs. Also got the fuel pump wired in and working via a separate switch (Thanks Alan)
So getting there bit by bit, but its just a case of sorting one thing out at a time.
Been collecting a few bits too, got a top tint windscreen and a mk2 dash carcass, aswell as some redstuff ceramic pads for the front.
Found these on eBay the other day too, and won the auction for a bargain price! and to top it off they were only 10mins down the road from me! a set of part worn AVON AC B10 soft compound semi slicks.
These will be going on my cessaro's which I will be refurbing with these!
That's all for now
I'm going to come round and steal your tyres.

"let me drive.. i won't make a fool out of you"
Small update, got a set of NGK R twin electrode plugs, the correct size alternator belt (hopefully!) and some oil ready for the start up (if we manage to get our heads round the coil wiring!)
Also took my Toyo's to be fitted to my cav slab wheels and balanced![]()
Excellent, starting it tonight then?
Where'd you get your tyres fitted and how much?![]()
Coxy's sorting them for me![]()
Right not sure if this will be much help to you but
6 pin amplifier plug pin 1 at the top of pic through to 6 at the bottom
Pins 1&2&4 go to hall effect sensor
Pin number and wire colours of hall effect sensor
Pins 3&6 of amplifier plug ( pink and think brown go to coil)
Pin 5 of the 6 pin amplifier plug is then earthed on the body with or next to the brown earth for head lights
I'm sure wire colours are different but you can easily follow to get yours to work! Oh and run an ignition 12v supply to + side of coil (I ran mine from ignition switch so I knew I was getting good voltage easy to find need a wire that gets 12v when ignition is switch to position 2!) and the rev counter runs of negative side of coil straight to back of clocks
