I'm kinda hoping your gonna say this race is taking place on private land or up strip or something? Cos street racing is for tw@ts and is what gives Nova owners a bad reputation........

If your engine is standard and he has an induction kit it will probably still be quite close but i reckon he will beat you - unless you have your car stripped out etc.

'Tis gonna be close thoguh - at the end of the day you are both on a 1.6 8v engine.

As for beating a vts in a gsi - what mods have you got done to yours mate? coz the vts is a 16v.

    You can get 1.4 VTR's.

And I know MAX POWER is shite.

In the back it reckons 1.4 vtr and 1.4 sr nova both do 0-60mph in 10 secs.

They blag, but surely if both are blagged den it will be equal.

So a 1.6 GSi should kick a 1.4vtr's ass, but dunno bout 16 vtr?

there is no such thing as a 1.4 vtr mate.
check the citroen website car configurator if you dont believe me.

there is a 1.4 that looks liek a vtr/vts with the extended arches etc but thats not a vtr - its a Furio, formerly known as Westcoast.

at the end of they day, the saxo should be quicker as it is newer and should be more lightweight and all that bollucks, but the novas are still quick, i reckon the nova is the underdog. down to the way the car is driven aswell.
