    they store power so that ur subs have enough power for when they deliver the low bass notes

    or it sumit like that

    on potn.co.uk they got fusion(1.0 farad) for about ?130 i think..

    they also sell em at maplin but duno price or make..

    Motorworld do one for about ?90 with display. don't know the make though.

    They keep a constant power supply to the battery so it stops all the lights dimming, basically saves battery power. Only really worth getting if uve got id guess 1500watts or more?
