    Default digi dash fuel guage problem

    right, i can have a full tank of petrol in my mk2 nova with a c20xe and digi dash, and 2 seconds later the fuel guage is flashing at me cos its empty.... any ideas?

    Hole in your tank, dodgy dash guage, dodgy sender, wrong resistance sender, dodgy wiring, theres many many reasons this could happen, with it having a different set of clocks from a different car bodged in then the problem could lie anywhere, only trial and error will find it im afraid!

    Does the guage ever show anything apart from empty?

    yeah most of the time it tells me exactly how much fuel i have, it can say half tank, then go to empty, then back to a half tank, doesnt bother me really, but wanna put it right as i will be selling soon!

    It's most probably a bad connection or the sender on its way out. Like Spudly said, it's just a case of trial and error
