    Default gte clutch

i went to replace the clutch on my gte today but according to the haynes manual only a gsi needs the gearbox removed, so when i removed the wheel there was no plug on the end cover! does the gearbox have to be removed?????

On an f13 you need to take the end cover off the cluster and take out a bolt and a pin IIRC, then the input shaft can be slid back, the fiddly bit is getting the clip out. then you need the tools to compress the clutch.
