well the cost of doing mine was:
180 sandpaper - 30p
1200 sandpaper - 30p
anthracite aerosols x2 - 3.50 each so 7 quid
lacquer aerosol - 3.50
and polish what i already had.
so mine come to 11 pounds and 10 pence, and half a days work.

It really depends on the condition of the wheels. If they are not corroded and there has been no bubbling of the paint but it has some minor scratches/kerbing and the paint has faded then it can be done withing a couple days, as you would only really need to clean/rub down to make it all smooth, filler the scratches/kerbing then paint.Originally Posted by novamerit1991
If, on the other had, you have wheels that have corroded and paint has bubbled up, kerbing/scratches paint peeling this would mean you'd have to strip off all paint and that takes ages, trust me. Took me about 8 hours to strip one wheel of all paint.
With the right tools yes, you can do 4 in a day.

Yes like an acid dip/bead blasting. If I had that 1 day would have been enough. But if it's nitromoorse and a wire attachment expect much more.
Sanding them down on a da is enough. The paint comes of quickly with a bit of 180.
