    can any1 help me !
    how much work is involved in removing bumper strips from the side of nova's cause mine look bollocks and i want to make the car look smooth

    easy enough to do.

    have you got vinyl below them as well? thats where it takes the time!

    vinyl takes the pi$$ did it on me mates car.

    And then you'll STILL see them, like ghosts, as they won't be duller due to weathering, like the rest of the car will be.

    depends what colour the car is really. on my metallic grey nova you couldnt see where they used to be. Red is the worse colour to do it on

    ive just taken mine off they were a twat the hairdryer helped though

    my neighbours looked at me as if i was crackers

    I did mine last weekend,
    hot soapy water and don't rush it!
    teacut and then polished the whole car, looks mint!

    hmmmm do what i did if u want and use boiling water from a kettle, youll find the bump strip leaves the paint and u dont av 2 do anything!

    only problem is i sent my red paint pink / white and had to use t-cut to bring it back red!

    i did it on an old tailgate, removing the badges but principles the same
