Why the **** would the engine be siezed?

If its only done 22k, thats about 1.2k a year, 24 miles a week. Barely enough to warm it up each time it goes out, so it would be running on a poorly lubicated engine with cold oil. Either that, or its been stood for a very very long time doing nothing. Or worse, both (stood for ages, then a long trip, then left to do nothing for a long time - repeat)

Its a 1.2 ohc 8v engine.

Hardly a b18c or anything complex

Itll be fine

Mine has done 11.3 miles a week

However, I see the point about the cold oil, but, if its only been driven from 1000-2000rpm (granny shiftinn) then it will be fine
