Ever thought about smoothing all the holes underneath the bonnet Benn? I've been thinking about doing mine but don't think I can be bothered. Never seen it done before and think it would look ace with your super smooth engine bay.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, “DAMN, what a ride!!”

Would be very tidy, but i thick due to how much flex there is in the bonnet i think it would crack...

I got a big bit of cardboard, cut it to size (left to right) then slid it in (front to back) you can then mark where to cut for the wiper linkage and bits.. Then on the front edge, you can push the cardboard down and the fire wall will mark it. You can then cut along the indent and it should fit. Get it all right, then trace the template on to plastic/carbon fiber or what ever you wanna use.

Ever found your rear lights just dont look as clean as they could? I have.

Found the black plastic just looks faded and dated. So i set about it... Gave them a rub down.

    Mask the lenses up..

    Light coat of etch.

Rock on with the gloss black...

    De-mask the lens.

Then get the lacquer out as i wanted the lenses to be shinier..

    4 Coats later...

    Looking a bit better.

    No.

Lacquered entire units should add a certain glossyness to it though, providing they stay free of chips and marks!
