Cannot beat Sony Xplod stuff interms of value for money. All my sounds are Sony stuff can't go wrong to be honest.

As mentioned they not competition stuff to do sound offs etc but apart from that they perfect for the job and if you a bit strapped for cash

I had two 12" pentagon subs, the red ones. They were pretty good, but to be fair I was running them off a meaty Magnat amp.

However, the 10" JL sub and Alpine amp I have now easily match the performance, if not better.

I have Xplode stuff in my car at the mo. I have a 500W amp and a 1200W 12" sub, to be fair even when the amp is working its not great. I have an oldish Sony 45x4 head unit which isnt great either. My infinity 6x9s are fantastic and i would recommend them to anyone. I'm hopefully getting a new set up soon. My other half has a JBL bass tube running off a JVC head unit with Pioneer tweeters and mid range in the front doors and it sounds fantastic! Personally i wouldnt bother getting sony ICE again, as in comparrison to other peoples set up it doesnt sound that great, however my stuff was quite cheap so if you can get it cheap go for it!

ive got a 1100watt 15" X-plod sub mounted into the spare wheel well with a class D single channel 1400watt amp powering it and X-plod 6" door speakers and JBL 6" speakers in rear false floor. All sounds to doggies when its going tbh.

Its good stuff, although yes it can be a bit pricey but you pay for quality dont you!

I had two Xplod 12" subs in my old car, running off a 4ch JBL amp, and imo, they sounded great, very good for the money.

that may be true, but the colour of the sony subs matches my car. And yes, that is the only reason why i have a sony sub in my boot floor :D
