Default Vauxhall Colour Swatches and Trim Info.

I recently found a few very nice Vauxhall brochures on car colours and trim information.

I thought I'd share the wealth with my fellow PNG'ers so that if anyone had any questins on trim name or trim that was available for the Nova, or any other Vauxhall from that era, then this could be a reference (If that's ok!)

Images were scanned at 500dpi, but I have reduced them down to 1280 x 1024 keeping image constraints as it would be too huge for the thread.

The first brochure is for 1991 Models; Edition Number 2. I havent included all pages just the relevant ones:

The next brochure is for 1993 Models; Edition Number 2. I know that Nova's stopped in '93 but I'm sure theres a few colours that could apply.

And now for some trim. It also includes other Vauxhall models:

    Hope you find this useful.

P.S. I have tried my best to ensure that the colour shown, which Vauxhall stated that it could slightly differ due to printing processes, are as close as possible to the original print colour. Obviously due to variables such as scanner, screen configuration etc I have tried to enhance the colours and match them as close as possible by taking colour samples and finding an average together with eye matching whats on screen and on paper. So this is only a guide / reference and is not 100% accurate.

That was probably an older colour which was no longer used from 1991 onwards. The brochures I scanned were from 1991 and 1993. Some Nova's came with the colours shown but most had colours that were much older.

Yeah guys, like I mentioned the colours depend on your screen configuration brightness and contrast. On my own PC the LCD screen I use has been set up for photo editing so the screen is configured properly. The PC and monitor I am using now haven't and some colours look darker or the hue is slightly different.

So it's not gonna look perfect for everyone unfortunately

Yeah but you would need to get the colour code from the plate under bonnet, i got my 92 Nova painted from this....... or if you go to the right place they colour match it using "chips" which if they go into depth then they will have the different variations of each colours, well the ones that happened the most anyway. EG Breeze blue may have had a variation with a bit more yellow or white in it making a subtle difference in it that you wouldnt notice until you painted the whole pannel before noticing they look completly different!
