EFR all fitted now and radtec radiator with spal fans.
Unfortunately when the old turbo was removed it appears my head gasket had been leaking coolent down the side of the block for some time, ties up as did have to top the coolent up every month or so.
Head had a light skim and fitted a metal WRC head gasket.
Few jobs to do now before it can go to James at autodynamix for new ecu and mapping.

I was going to buy an escort cosworth but the prices now made me think get a Porsche and I got one from Southampton
Yes deffo much better cars out there for the money these day.
I have been tempted to sell and get a 997 turbo but just couldn’t do it

I can't fault the 996 turbo except the seats, the bolsters should of been bigger and since they're electric they weigh too much for my liking. The 997 was just a facelift so I'd hold out for a 991 turbo but again more expensive and out my reach
If I had one it would be a manual 997 for the facelift front end and more modern interior personally.

Small turbo inlet
Plenum fitted as less restrictive flow wise, also tidied up the bay as vac fittings are either end.
Had a mate turn down a boss and laser weld it into the manifold for temp sensor as this inlet does not usually have a
Tapping.
New gauge for Link ECU, mounted into dash insert where time clock is usually housed
