    Unhappy Help!!!!!

    need help!!!
    got a new car!! its a present from my boyfriend.
    its a very very broken sri.
    kinda looks like a car!! !
    the front end needs to come off, but then i wont have anything there its beyond repair and im finding it hard to get one.
    is there any thing else i can do??

    why does the front end need to come off? can you post some pictures to give us a glimmer of hope into helping you,, cheers

    its all rotten but just got a newish front end. nice to hear someone who sound genuine and friendly thanks.

    well if its got a new front end it cant be that rotten. which bits are good and which are bad? to be honest it sounds like your trying to make summat out of hardly anything! to get a descent nova you need yuo start off with a descent nova! like i said, pictures would help us assess the situation!!!!!

    sorry didnt explain that very well. needed a new front panel. just been told thats what it is called. got one now. but scared of taking bits like that off a car and putting different parts back on. will it still be as safe as it was? i know changing bumpers and things doesnt make that much difference. but these are huge parts of the original car. im NOT thick i just dont get it. .

    a new front panel is a rather large undertaking for someone who is only just starting out on cars. theres a lot of drilling, grinding and welding the new one in. at the top of the page there is a search tool, type in what you want to know, theres usually a lot of things come up but theres usually useful stuff

    i dont mind hard work i just dont want to mess it up! will get my boyfriend to do the welding though. not ready for that yet.

    make sure that you drill holes and weld in them so it can look like it was originally there

    if your unsure get a pro to do it.

    60 quid i was charged for removal of old panel and fitment of new.

    yup thats the one and im gonna have a go at it, and everything else that needs doing (a lot)
