Alternator modification, as most know - usually a lump hammer is used here - but we wasn't keen on that soooooo
All done - now ready for degreasing, primering, painting... then in with the engine
Polybushed tiebar joints that link to front panel
Primered engine bay with aerosol cans, just to protect welds (also seam sealered)
Fitted new seats - they look nice
6-point Sparco Pro2000 lightweight harness goodness

Bought another F20 but with LSD this time
Degreased and cleaned... again
Black this time, wasn't keen on the silver last time
Next up - spray job... old rusty E30 beemer wing as a test panel for spray patterns
Once happy with that - primer was on
Left to dry, the the colour, RAL7061 Anthracite
Once dry, niceys put back on... and the rebuild begins, rack first (looks a strange colour in this pic for some reason)
F20 bolted up to XE, with all mounts and earth straps on - ready to be put in tomorrow

Nice and tight, gearbox end (on solid mounts though, so shouldnt be an issue)
Uh ho - here comes the wiring
Starter & Alternator wired up - biggest thanks to JB (wire dangling is oil pressure switch (still needed))
New Valeo rad & Spal 11" fan fitted & wired up
Loom in place, water bottles put back on
New brakes on
Almost there...
First time she's seen daylight, in 2 months
Dry fitted the cage
Marked out the feet
Made some plates and welded them in
Wings on...
Rollcage in dry, with seats placed into position - she's looking mean!
Made up some more plates for the cage, boring job - but satisfying once they're done and bent into shape
Nitromorz doing it's stuff again - saves grinding, as the metal is thin enough anyway
Mid section and backbox of the exhaust put on dry to see how well it fits...
All in and fitted/ welded/ bolted with all the bars in
Centre eyelets for harnesses, and eyelets for 5th & 6th point on the harnesses fitted... neat job
Seats in and bolted, along with harnesses... gangsta
Navi-footplate purchased back (from my drift bmw)
