digi dash in mk1

How do u fit a digi dash in amk1 if there is anybody who could fit for me for some cash it would help loads cheers

ive jus fitted a digi into my mk1 dash. to be honest it aint worth the hassle. its easier to fit a complete mk2 dash (also looks alot betta!) im hopefully gewtting hold of one very soon. u can fit it in but u need to cut at your dash and fasten a mk2 cavalier dash cover in place to hide all tyhe cuttings and hold it in place properly. I cant remember the name of the site which i used cos it tells u where to cut your dash to make it fit. when i find it i'll post it for u so keep an eye open here.

Just done one of these, dash and digi-dash conversion on a friends. It all fitted under the standard cover and never cut the dash at all. I agree with dj4man, do both, it'll only be about ?40. Watch out for the heater plug, it looks the same but is wired back to front and you'll have to wire the rear wiper to the stolk.

Simple enough though.
