    Phil Lofthouses Nova. Was an XE on 45's with mapped ignition IIRC.

    Some pics from Migweb...





    I remember watching it on the 1/4 mile @ PV a few years ago. It torque steered so bad it almost hit the left hand wall. I think he missed a gear change from what I heard as I watched. Lots of grunt!

    Nice one Craig, it isn't the one that used to run phase II Renault 16v wheels is it? Ford Citrine yellow? Used to love that one when at school All the old Max Power mags with the Nova thrashes at Santa Pod etc iirc

    Nah that was a Q plated Turbo one that had the Renault wheels on.

    The Q plater was built by Andy Windsor. It had an F28 6spd in it all that time ago in 1996. Apparently that was built from the last ever remaining factory bare GSi shell too.

    Sadly, the wheels cant be seen (bottom left)
