    Default 1.6 16v

    as iv started my job and have to travel alot of miles each week i was planning to put my Nover to rest and buy a new car some thing with a lot less miles on it and a newer engin. But then my dad sugested just swaping out my old motor for some thing newer a 1.6 16v so could any 1 tell me

    where i can get this done and for roughly how much.

    we would do it our selves but its having the time n i realy need it doing quickly as i need the car for work.

    and theres a 1.6 16v for sale on MIG.
    Also try mailing dicko as he's already done that conversion.

    Why do you need a newer car/engine just 'cos you're going to be doing more miles?
    An old engine can be just as good, if not better than any new one...just depends how you maintain it.

    Some newer cars are not as reliable as some old ones. Novas can cover huge mileage reliably.

    Anyway, that's my little rant
