Default headunits with built in screens

has anyone got a headunit with fold out screen there mk2 nova ?? i want 1 but was looking at the stereo space and im not sure if the screen will foul the dash when it slides out. i know you can get screens with multi angle but im not sure if this would still give a good enough angle to view the screen ?? i dont want one stuck somewhere on the dash either or in the vents as i want the dash to look original

I've done one before, had to space the unit like fook to get it at a decent angle, looks good when its out, looks **** when its in, best bet is a seperate screen mounted somewhere else, i.e, sunvisors!

An old mate of mine had one in his gsi about 6 years ago, he fitted it in place of the dash vents because it was different at the time. Only took a few hours to work it out.

yeah but i dont like them just stuck there, plus if some twocer looks thru your window, sees youve got a screen its pretty obvious youve got something else there

Re loacting stuff is easy, you need to be able to solder and ideally have a second source of music, i.e changer or i pod, oh and lots of telephone cable.

Looks good tho when done proper...
